Endeavor 2 Dream Foundation offers a range of impactful programs to empower and uplift young men in our community. From mentorship initiatives that pair participants with experienced leaders, to scholarship opportunities and grants that provide critical financial support, our offerings are designed to foster personal growth, develop essential skills, and open doors to brighter futures.
Through strategic partnerships with like-minded organizations, we further expand our reach and impact, collaborating on innovative projects and initiatives that create meaningful change. Additionally, we are proud to recognize the extraordinary efforts of individuals and groups who share our vision, honoring them with prestigious awards that celebrate their contributions.
The primary function is to serve as the philanthropic efforts of Dulles-Leesburg (VA) Alumni Chapter (E) of Kappa Alpha Psi with a focus on youth development and community empowerment through various programs. The Endeavor 2 Dream Foundation provides annual scholarships to the graduating seniors of the DLAC Guide Right Program. We also partner with organizations like March of Dimes and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to address issues like maternal health, mental health, and childhood cancer.
Drone Legends Program – In collaboration with Airborne Objects and the Booz Allen Foundation, this one-of-a-kind program provides students with STEM-focused drone technology education. Through hands-on experience, students gain valuable problem-solving, teamwork, and technical skills in a rapidly growing industry. This initiative aligns with our commitment to supporting youth through immersive science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education and hands-on learning. Designed to inspire and educate students in grades 6-12, the program introduces participants to the exciting world of drones, combining STEM learning with cutting-edge technology while fostering critical thinking skills.
Our 6-week cohort structure is tailored to delivering comprehensive drone education through 10 mission-based lessons. Each 90-minute class focuses on both the technical and social-emotional development of participants, creating a well-rounded educational experience. Additionally, we are collaborating with AACA organizations by inviting STEM field representatives from each organization to assist with sessions, further enriching student learning.
June 2024, Dulles-Leesburg Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi recognized for outstanding contributions and celebrated the impact of work on enhancing the quality of life in the community. We have been recommended and awarded for the Summer 2024 Serve Virginia Honor Roll by Loudoun Cares in appreciation of our volunteer efforts.
The African American Community Alliance works to promote unity, empowerment, and positive change within the African American community and to create an inclusive and thriving environment for its member organizations and the community at large.
The Booz Allen Foundation's Local Equity Grant program provides funding to organizations in communities where Booz Allen has a presence, with a focus on supporting STEAM initiatives and addressing local needs. This program aligns with the Foundation's broader goals of building community resilience and fostering STEAM education, particularly for underserved youth.
